Meet Jarno Smeets, a mechanical engineer who has invented a device that allows him to takoff, fly and land like a bird with what he calls a “semi human powered flying device”. He just successfully completed his first test flight. I hope we see a lot from him in the near future. Here is video of his first flight:

It does look like fun- hope it is true and not CGI like they are insinuating.
