Sep 27, 2009- Last KSC Open House

Had our last open house this Saturday- brought mom, wife and the kids to the bay I work in that houses Endeavour.

This is the white room where we dress into “bunny suits” before going into the side hatch in the forward compartment. The walls are covered with signatures from people (some famous) who have gotten tours of the flight deck and middeck. It is a tradition started in the early 90’s and is done in all three high bays. We are hoping that they will send the white room walls with each orbiter when they are dispersed after the program is over- a lot of history on those walls.
