Jun 25, 2007- Last week of processing

We are one week away from rolling Endeavour out the door! More than 4 years of mods, repairs and delays have come to an end. I will be following it to the pad and supporting final launch preps on the flight deck. Except for the mosquitoes (the launch pads are located in the middle of the swamps of the Merritt Island Wildlife Refuge) working at the pads is pretty cool and a nice change of pace from being in the OPF. There are some pretty spectacular views from the upper levels, especially at dusk. I’ll post pics once I get out there.

About John Sep

Former Space Shuttle aerospace technician and private pilot now looking towards the next great adventure. Soon to be heading home from my overseas assignment! Transfered my blog from MySpace to here so check my older stuff for info and pictures from my days in space shuttle processing- lots of behind the scenes stuff! He drew pics, flew planes, fought fires and helped launch people into space - what will he do next?
