Mar. 29, 2007- Captain America is dead– not!

Boy, if that isn’t a metaphor for what is going on in this country. That sniper might as well be the media with how they are undermining our troops efforts to succeed in Iraq and Afganistan. Or it could be the Democrats with their efforts to undermine the Administration for their own gain while encouraging the actions of those who fight against our troops and wish us harm (I guess that the media does that too). Comic books are much deeper than people give them credit for– they provide social commentary on today’s events using talented artists and writers to show what is going on in the world. As long as we continue to believe that this is a great country and are willing to fight to protect ourselves and those who are unable to defend themselves, Cap will live on!
