Nov. 30, 2006- No pressure for Christmas holiday!

Found out that I’m not on the landing team for the December mission. Kinda glad because if there is a slip in the schedule, the landing could take place during Christmas break and I don’t want to spend it in a California hotel room away from the family. Here is a cool shot of Discovery’s landing at Edwards in 2005- Eileen Collins was the commander and it turned out to be her last flight before retiring.
