Dec. 11, 2006- Still no calls on the plane, launch night

Been trying to sell the Aztec, but fuel prices are really depressing the market right now. I’m hoping to get it to some airshows in the next couple of months so people can see what a great old gal she is. Thinking about a broker, but don’t know how to find a trustworthy one.

Was working the night of the launch, so I got to see the launch up close– it never gets old, but I have given up on trying to take night launch pictures and decided to leave it to the pros. The light is so intense and I’m not experienced enough with exposures and f-stops to get a nice shot of something moving that fast with the extreme contrasts of fire and night background. The wind creates a little shake to the camera that adds another obstacle to clear launch pics.
